Research

Caroline is interested in how global change alters ecosystem structure and function. She studies the effects of introduced predators on nutrient and energy cycling in the high Sierra. Her projects investigate the impacts of non-native trout on lake systems and lake-to-land linkages, as well as looking at how trout presence can interact with environmental factors to affect water quality, algal blooms, and insect populations.
