Congratulations Mike Burnett
Congratulations are in order for Mike Burnett, who successfully defended his Ph.D., received the prestigious Simmons Postdoctoral Fellowship, and recently published in Agricultural and Forest Meteorology!

With his Simons Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship in Plant Biology, Mike will be heading to UC Davis to work with Dr. Brian Bailey on deriving new plant functional traits by applying fractal theory to 3-dimensional forest canopy structures, first in simulations and eventually using models of real forests derived from laser scanning.
