Congratulations to Kate Culhane on successfully completing her MA dissertation in which she studied the ecological aftermath of large-scale disturbances.

Kate's MA work involved following the recovery patterns after the 2017–2018 Thomas Fire and subsequent Montecito debris flows. She researched how fire and debris flow influenced invertebrate community structure and cross-habitat subsidies between streams and riparian zones.
